We recently returned to Chandigarh after almost twenty-four years, and my wife insisted we stay nowhere but Hotel Kwality Residency — the hotel where we always stayed between 2000 and 2003, sometimes two or three times a month. In those years we grew close to Mr. Lamba, who treated us like family. One morning our car had a flat tyre on the way to Timber Trail. Without hesitation, he handed us the keys to his own car and told us to leave ours behind. When we returned that evening in the rain, he was standing outside personally supervising the repair. This time, we learned Mr. Lamba had passed away, which saddened us deeply. But meeting his daughter, Ms. Shweta Lamba, we felt the very same warmth — the same values, carried forward. Our stay brought back so many beautiful memories; it genuinely felt like coming home again.
A five-star hotel in every conceivable quality. The rooms are spotlessly clean and without parallel in amenities, from air-conditioning to an electric tea kettle. All things considered, it is an excellent choice — five-star comfort at three-star cost.
Four nights, and everything exceeded expectations. The room was spacious and peaceful, the staff attentive at every hour, and the location central yet quiet. For the price, easily the best option in Chandigarh.
The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained, creating a serene atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Our room was a spacious sanctuary with pristine linens and lovely balcony views. It completely exceeded our expectations.
Tastefully decorated rooms with green marble counters that give a classy feel. Ms. Shweta Lamba, the owner, personally interacts with guests and is easily approachable. The adjoining restaurant, Ketliwala, serves excellent cuisine.
The staff was incredibly courteous and always ready to help with a smile. What stood out most was the owner's genuine, welcoming behaviour — it added a real personal touch. Warm, homely, and great value for money.
Not our first time and won't be our last! First time staying on the 1st floor and was worried it would be noisy. It was so quiet! And the hotel was packed! The free breakfast is outstanding. LOVE the Hotel Kwality Regency!
Gorgeous luxury hotel in Kwality close to Fountain Square, Mass Ave & Downtown. Would definitely stay again. Only thing I would ask them to change is the pillows & the guys working the valet definitely need more supervision & training.
The hotel is nice and clean. The entire staff was very helpful and all of the amenities are excellent, and a very good breakfast. I will certainly be back in town, and I will never hesitate to stay at the Hotel Kwality Regency
My favourite hotel in Chandigarh, will stay there again if I come to the Tricity, everyone from The manager, owner , desk staff to the waiters and bellboys were very polite and extremely helpful, I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit CHD , this place is very comfortable
